Turkey: Only 9% of Russian strikes target the Islamic State.

 

The Turkish Presidential Spokesman İbrahim Kalın claimed that only 9 percent of Russian strikes in Syria targeted the Islamic State while the rest of the strikes hit Syrian moderate opposition groups.

The spokesman confirmed that Turkey does not have a problem with Russia strikes against the IS, but his country is against Russia targeting civilians rather than terrorists.

He also added that finding a solution to the Syrian conflict is necessary to solve the refugees crisis
