ISIS militants forced control on Thursday over many Assad regime forces’ checkpoints in Homs eastern countryside with sudden swift blows, according to Amaq, ISIS’ main propaganda agency.

Amaq confirmed that 20 Assad militants were immediately killed after capturing 7 checkpoints. The group’s agency also published a photo of a car loaded with high explosives driven by a suicide attacker headed to launch the attack.

These developments came after ISIS’ taking control over many checkpoints near the building of granary in Homs eastern countryside in the last few days.

Large amounts of ammunition were left in the Assad positions, as Assad militants abandoned their territories in flight after hearing the large explosion of ISIS’ car bomb.
