The offender can be found in the first and short question that the Chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar was asked with the belief that he would certainly answer…
“Will you be Kenan Evren or not?”
The nature of this question is of better quality than the coup attempt of these coup perpetrators. Kenan Evren was “our boy.” “Our boy” meaning “America’s boy.”
This is what Gen. Akar was really asked: “Will you become America’s boy?”
The superior mind of the junta is caught in this question.
What is the dictionary meaning of ‘intelligence?’
On the sixth night following the failed coup attempt, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered the international news agency Reuters’ question about Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) saying: “I couldn’t get into contact with the MİT, there is weakness in the MİT and I told my undersecretary too.” Just about the same time there was other interesting news as well…
On the same morning at 5:08 a.m. Russian news agency TASS stated that Russia warned Turkey of a possible coup attempt… The interesting thing is TASS had referenced a news agency of another country… (“Russia warned Turkey of imminent army coup, says İran’s FNA,” 21/07, TASS.)
According to Iran’s Fars News Agency (FNA), Russian intelligence services had warned their “equivalents” of an imminent military coup. (“Erdoğan Warned of Incoming Coup by Russian Alert,” 20/07, FNA.) The above news has technical details too… And that is how the coup caught Russia’s attention.
It seems that there wasn’t much time between the coup and when its intelligence came through. It can be assumed that the Turkish intelligence agencies were aware of the situation, as “imminent” means instantaneous.
What if this was not the case?
If Russian intelligence, SVR, previously known as the KGB, had notified Turkish authorities of such a situation then this brings about a new discussion.
It is important to know if these allegations are true or not. Because the West/U.S. perceive these allegations as “invitations” instead of trying to verify whether they are true or not.
However, this can be accepted; the Turkish internal affairs are complicated, but so, too, are the affairs abroad. The world is just as curious about these questions on how the coup came about as we are.
On the other hand the West’s (the U.S. and EU) media is operating on a common mind. The coup perpetrators were forgotten on the third day of the failed coup attempt and all criticisms and attacks have been directed to the Turkish public and President Erdoğan who was planned to be assassinated.
Turkey, NATO, the EU and U.S’s “strategic ally,” is about to be labeled the culprit.
Western media’s attitude is so surprising and total that it can only be explained as the panicky attitude of the offender…
The future president: ‘NATO will go, but Turkey will remain’
In my article on Wednesday, I wrote about the external reasons and the timing of the coup, but due to word limit I could only touch on a certain part of them.
For example, the relation between the coup attempt and the U.S.’s presidential elections is an issue of concern for many, but cannot be explained by the media or experts…
Is this important? Yes. Because this explains why the U.S./NATO hastily attempted a coup in Turkey, it explains the branch of the fluctuation in global balances in the U.S. that lead to the coup.
Isn’t U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s speech more “endearing and familiar” to us? What can you say about Donald Trump’s statements during and after the coup attempt? Although the Turkish public is not expected to vote during the U.S.’s presidential elections, Trump said: “Leave Turkey alone; I support Erdoğan, the AK Party government is very impressive.” Which of these are meant to be more effective?
“Some believe this coup was planned from before, but I don’t believe these allegations…”
Do you know why? Because he knows he is behind the coup. That’s all. Evidence? Here you go; “Trump is ready to throw NATO out of the door!” (“Trump is ready to say, ‘You Are Fired’ to NATO,'” 21/07, Foreign Policy.)
21 hours before the coup
The Kremlin… The fifth hour of the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry! This piece of information alone is enough for a “red alarm.” This is a very important meeting.
After the NATO summit deployed the armies that were to attack Russia into surrounding countries, the level of the Washington-Moscow relations will be understood via Syria. This is what the meeting was about.
The Turkish national security is looking for clues to solve the conclusions of this meeting.
The foreign politics of the coup push the limits of this article. I have only touched upon one thousandth of the issues. We will continue to discuss this issue.
