A video displaying live scenes of an anti-Israeli soldiers operation carried out by an elite unit of the Qassam Brigades was released on Thursday evening, According to Palestinian media.
The videotaped operation displays the killing of eight Israeli soldiers from a zero distance during the 2014 Israeli offensive on Gaza and the abduction of the Israeli soldier Shaul Aaron.
Entitled al-Dhabab (fog), the video showed live footage taken by two Qassam operators during the offensive. The shooting of the eight Israeli soldiers was headed by al-Qassam fighter Ahmad al-Jamassi, who was later killed in the operation along with fighter Thabet al-Reifi.
Shortly before he was killed, al-Jamassi targeted an Israeli Merkava war tank with an RPG shell to secure the withdrawal of the resistance fighters from the battlefield. Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, has carried out typical anti-occupation operations against Israeli targets during the 2014 offensive on the besieged coastal territory of Gaza.
