Hamas Movement said in a statement issued this week that Jerusalem Intifada will never stop till the end of Israeli occupation of all Palestinian territories.

The Hamas Movement has said it will remain committed to supporting al-Quds intifada (uprising) against the Israeli occupation, calling on the Palestinian people from all spectra to patronize it.

In press remarks on the first anniversary of al-Quds intifada, senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya said that his Movement would continue to boost the intifada, stressing the need for strong popular support to help it continue.

Hayya also slammed Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas for participating in the funeral of former Israeli premier Shimon Peres, describing the latter as a killer.

“If Peres was a man of peace, so who is the killer in the occupation state?” the Hamas official underlined.

He affirmed that Hamas has no enmity with any party except the Israeli occupation, calling on the Arab and Islamic countries to criminalize any attempt to establish relations with Israel and support the Palestinian resistance by all possible means.

On the other hand, The Palestinians will soon reap the crops of anti-occupation resistance, political bureau member of Hamas Dr. Mahmoud al-Zahhar.

Addressing the Palestinian masses during a festival staged by Hamas in western Gaza City to mark the 16th anniversary of the Jerusalem Intifada, Zahhar acclaimed the anti-occupation Intifada, dubbing it an “engine that never breaks down.”

“The first blazes of the Jerusalem Uprising emerged as the Palestinians firmly rejected a break in at Muslims’ the Holy al-Aqsa Mosque by Israel’s notorious former PM Ariel Sharon,” stated Zahhar.

“Hamas will never ever forfeit a single inch of the Palestinian soil,” he pledged. Zahhar reiterated Hamas’s firm rebuff of any peace initiatives or negotiations with the Israeli occupation authority before the occupied Palestinian territories are liberated.

He lashed out at the Palestinian Authority (PA) president, Mahmoud Abbas, for announcing his intents to join the funeral procession of Israel’s former President Shimon Peres slated to be held on Friday. He described Abbas’s projected participation in the funeral of Peres, remembered by the Palestinians as a murderer and an instigator of bloodshed, a barefaced provocation of the Palestinian people and the Muslim nation.
