11 PKK terrorists ‘neutralized’ in SE Turkey

– Terrorists ‘neutralized’ in air operation in Farasin-Beytussebap region

– Eleven PKK terrorists were “neutralized” Monday in Turkey’s southeastern Farasin-Beytussebap region, military sources said, according to Anadolu Agency.

The terrorists were neutralized in an air operation in the Farasin-Beytussebap region, one of the PKK’s main bases within the country, between Van,Sirnak,Hakkari provinces, according to the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media.

The operation is still underway in the region.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization also by the U.S., and the EU and resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July 2015.

Since then, PKK terrorist attacks have martyred more than 600 security personnel and also claimed the lives of numerous civilians, including women and children, while more than 7,000 PKK terrorists have been killed in army operations.
