27th Africa-France Summit in Bamako: Algerian PM to represent President Bouteflika

Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal will represent President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika at the works of the 27th Africa-France Summit.

 The 27th. Africa-France summit will be held in Mali’s Bamako on Saturday under the theme “Partnership, peace and emergence,” said the Prime Minister Office in a statement.

The Summit will focus on the progress made in the implementation of the recommendations of the 26th session, held in Paris, France, in 2013, in addition to ways and means to strengthen cooperation with a view to collectively addressing the common challenges, particularly peace, security and development in Africa, said the statement.

“Bamako Summit will take place as Africa, under the double impulse of the AU’s New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and Agenda 2063, is making every effort for its development, through better cooperation with its different partners,” said the statement.

The Premier will accompanied by Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and Arab League Abdelkader Messahel.
