Quebec mosque attack: Bodies of two Algerian victims to be repatriated Feb. 4

The bodies of the two Algerian victims of the despicable terrorist attack in the Mosque of Quebec, Canada, will be repatriated to Algeria on Saturday, announced the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdelaziz Benali Cherif.

“The repatriation has been decided by the families of the victims in coordination with the Algerian Embassy in Ottawa and the Consul General in Montreal, who visited them in Quebec to offer condolences on behalf of the government and people of Algeria and assure them of the sympathy and solidarity of all their compatriots living in Canada,” Benali Cherif told APS.

The Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson underlined that all necessary measures have been taken by the Algerian consular services for the repatriation of late Abdelkrim Hassan and Khaled Belkacemi and their burial in their native land.
