Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to Yemenis: We’re with you in every step to the last day of our lives
Yemen represents “the strategic depth of the Arab nation” and “the origin of Arabs,” Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said on Wednesday in a speech during his reception of senior Yemeni tribal sheikhs at the Royal Court in Riyadh.
“The biggest mistake committed by the enemy is that it tried to infringe on the depth and basis of Arabs, the sisterly Republic of Yemen, which made all the Arab world alert to what is happening in Yemen,” he added.
“The table has turned in the past year and a half, not only in Yemen but throughout the Arab and Islamic worlds, as they (the enemy) made a mistake by touching… Yemen.”
Prince Mohammed said Yemenis do not need to be helped by their brothers, for if they mobilize and stand up they will wipe out the enemy and not stop until they reach its home.
“But we, your brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Arabian Gulf states, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Morocco and all over the Arab and Islamic worlds, cannot see the mobilization and standing up of Yemeni men without being beside them.
“We are with you in every step to the last day of our lives, as we were in the past and will be in the future.”
In his speech on behalf of the Yemeni tribal sheikhs, Sheikh Mufreh Buhaibih thanked the Saudi government under King Salman’s leadership for responding to the sheikhs’ desire to meet with the Saudi leadership, for supporting Yemeni legitimacy, and for what has been carried out by Arab Coalition forces to restore security and stability to Yemen and its people.
