Saudi controls access to the Muslim holy places. Access to #Hajj should be open to all Muslims and non-politicized. #Saudi started blockade against neighbouring #Qatar in 2017!
The blockade was supposedly because of Qatar’s relation with Iran. Saudi has long allowed Iranian pilgrims to attend Hajj normally.
But Saudi has banned Qatari from performing from their homes,
Calls for Saudi Arabia to stop politicizing Haj and Umrah are mounting.
